Matthew McConaughey's Longbranch Bourbon is definitely worth a pour.

Have you tasted George Clooney’s tequila? How about Ron Jeremy’s rum? A new ranking of all 37 celebrity liquors and spirits from Esquire tabulates where to put your money and your mouth. Take a look at a portion of the round-up below.

Must-haves:

George Clooney’s Casamigos Tequila ranks high, with Esquire specifically recommending the Añejo for its “creamy, chocolatey” flavor that contains a hint of smoke. George Strait’s Código Tequila is another option if you’re interested in a more high-end liquor; bottles of its 6-year-old Origen go for $300 a piece.

Perhaps surprisingly, it’s Marilyn Manson’s absinthe, aptly named Mansinthe, that Esquire ranks at the very top of its list.

Brands to pass up:

We love Bill Murray as much as the next guy — but Esquire recommends we steer clear of his Slovenia Vodka. You can also do much better than Dan Aykroyd’s Crystal Head Vodka.

Neither rank as low as Billy Bush’s “crystal clear whiskeys,” found under the brand Beach Whiskey, though. “It actually tastes more like someone squirted Coppertone into a bottle of grain Everclear,” Esquire writes. “Don’t grab this one.”
