Ninety-nine percent of the time, your conversation with a Lyft driver will focus on what it’s like to be a Lyft driver, with a bit of navigation talk thrown in.

But when Rob Gronkowski got behind the wheel in Massachusetts as part of the ride-sharing service’s “Undercover” series, his topics of conversation were a bit more varied.

While driving, the New England Patriots tight end held court about his man-crush on Tom Brady and the astrophysics of spiking a football — possibly the only two subjects he can speak about. That said, Gronk comes across as a genuinely nice guy. It helps that he didn’t say “it is what it is” even once.

When his coach was asked to comment about the clip, Bill Belichick snorted, hawked up some phlegm and cleared his throat before pulling up his hood and shuffling away quietly.
