‘Tis the season for purging your home of all the sh*t you never use.
And while you’re at it, why not replenish with a few things you will use.
Like a new rug. Or a comfier couch. Or plates and glasses that don’t look exactly like everyone else’s plates and glasses.
All these things and more are on offer at the TRNK NYC pop-up that just opened in Culver City.
TRNK’s modish furniture will keep your place looking clean and kempt by virtue of its simple lines and 30-something muted colorways. Whether your prefer leather, cloth or a mix-and-match of both, they’ve got you covered.
Dubbed the Guesthouse, the store will be at The Platform through the end of April. The collection is shorn down to the basics here, such that the space itself looks like a model apartment. Of greatest interest: TRNK’s in-house seating collection, which features slouchy sofas, seats and ottomans in a variety of easy-to-match, subdued Pantones.
But they can work with you to meet the needs of your home, and in addition to structural pieces, do excellent dining room sets, right down to plateware and glasses. It’s all very affordable while still looking adult.
And pro tip: go around mealtime. Not only is the pop-up serving wine, but it’ll also make for a good excuse to grab tacos at Loqui, home of the best flour tortilla in town.
