Looking for some cheap year end (but definitely not Christmastime) travel?
Southwest is here to help, with sub-$100 roundtrip fares on some popular routes — valid for travel from now through late winter. The airline has nothing to offer if you’re only looking to travel around Christmas and New Year’s, as the second half of December and the first 10 days of January are ineligible for travel.
If you’re looking for other dates, though, there are some good deals here. Fort Lauderdale to Cancun? You’re looking at about $170 RT. Chicago to Austin? Just under $200. Oakland to L.A., under $100. See the full list of routes here — and remember that even if its fares aren’t bargain-basement, the airline’s generous exchange and refund policies, plus justly renowned customer service, could be well worth an extra 20 or 30 bucks.
