Jay-Z Releases New Album ‘4:44,’ Along With Animated Video for ‘The Story of O.J.’
Album released on June 30 can only be streamed on rapper's Tidal service
Today, Jay-Z released his 14th album, 4:44, which will only be available on the rapper’s streaming service Tidal and by Sprint customers—at least for the time being.
Co-produced by the rapper and No I.D. (i.e. hip-hop production vet Ernest Wilson), 4:44 features 10 tracks and a number of guest vocalists, including the always-buzz-worthy Frank Ocean (on “Caught Their Eyes”) and Bob’s youngest son Damian Marley (on “Bam”).
The album’s also a family affair, as the album features guest vocals from Jay-Z’s wife, Beyoncé (“Family Feud”); mother, Gloria Carter (“Smile”); and daughter, Blue Ivy (“Legacy”).
Additionally, the rapper released a complementary animated video to go with the single, “The Story of O.J.,” also on Tidal.
