While glass-bottomed structures aren’t exactly a novel concept, a glass-bottomed slide in Los Angeles just might take it a little overboard—at least for people with a fear of heights. From 1,000 feet up, visitors to the U.S. Bank Tower, California’s tallest building, will be able to ride a transparent slide that snakes outside of the building. The heart-pounding attraction is part of OUE Skyspace Los Angeles, a multistory open-air observation deck that provides unobstructed, panoramic views of the city.
The SkySlide, as it’s being called, will be 45 feet long and stretch from the 70th floor down to the 66th. The attraction will be fully encased with 1.25-inch glass. OUE Skyspace Los Angeles is set to open June 30, and the price of admission will be $25. Get more information here.
