Internet trolls may take offense, but the folks at Jim Beam are considerably forward-thinking. For proof, just look to the whiskey label’s genius (albeit gimmicky) bourbon-pouring virtual assistant.
A cheeky competitor to the ever-growing range of tabletop assistant offerings from Amazon and Google, JIM is being touted as “the world’s first smart decanter.” Fully voice activated, the JIM decanter can pour a shot on command once its bourbon storage compartment has been filled.
The first generation decanter-turned virtual voice assistant is voiced by 7th generation master distiller Fred Noe and even has 3G capabilities.
