The “cronut”—i.e. a croissant-doughnut hybrid—may have been invented in New York City, but it’s been weaponized in London. And by that, we mean the concept’s been taken and blown sky high, with Dum Dum Donutterie’s “Luxury Zebra Cro,” which the popular East End doughnut shop is selling for a whopping $2,000 a pop.

What makes this pastry so pricey? It’s gilded in Iranian saffron–infused butter croissant dough, Cristal Rose Champagne caviar, gold-leaf ornamentation, French delicacy Normandy butter, powdered Nutella, and the world’s most expensive Amedei Porcelana chocolate (which runs about $90 a pound).

Dum Dum created the doughnut in partnership with the Just Eat Food Fest, which is being held in London’s Red Market from July 22-24. For more on the Food Fest, click here. The shop’s currently accepting phone orders for the doughnuts here.
