Thieves are always looking for the next best thing to steal: Whether it’s your identity or a color patent, the objective is almost always money. And according to Eater‘s Matthew Sedacca, this extends also to the large-scale food business—not some kid pilfering a doughnut from the local supermarket. Per the author: “A large draw to boosting food is that the stakes, compared to other stolen goods, are extremely low.
