Chef Alain Ducasse Opens New Paris Restaurant Champeaux
Restaurant: Michelin-starred chef Alain Ducasse has launched a new brasserie, Champeaux, in Paris’ recently rejuvenated Les Halles neighborhood. The French-born chef adds Champeaux to his growing number of spots, which include Le Meurice and Aux Lyonnais in Paris and Le Louis XV in Monaco.
Cuisine: Soufflés will be the restaurant’s signature dish, with sweet and savory options to choose from; traditional brasserie fare such as deviled eggs and croque-monsieur will also be included on the menu.
Prices: Starters and desserts are priced from about $7, with dishes of the day at $25 and à la carte options from around $57.
Hours: 8 a.m. to midnight (open until 1 a.m. on Saturday)
