Whiskey Business

They say you can’t have your cake and eat it, too.

But you can have your cake, eat it, drink whiskey and play adult Monopoly, too, at Cake & Whiskey Club’s first ever Cakeopoly.

For the uninitiated, Cake & Whiskey is a roving fête that pairs lip-smacking frosted deserts with liver-smacking brown liquor.

Read: date night.

With Cakeopoly, C&W is transforming the Den Theatre into a real-life Monopoly board.

You: a Cake & Whiskey tycoon. You’ll move through six rooms, each with a different pairing, like Koval Lion’s Pride and chocolate cake topped with salted caramel frosting.

Or Few Bourbon (2011 Craft Whiskey of the Year) paired with strawberry-frosted champagne cake.

Other gameplay aspects include jail time with moonshine and run-ins with a guy named Chance, whose card could win you free cocktails at the full cash bar.

All this bouyed by live tunes from a hometown bluegrass band.

This party will likely sell out, so it’s best you buy tickets now.

Your move, bud.
