“There is a pleasure in the pathless woods. There is a rapture on the lonely shore. There is society where none intrudes.”

And there is satisfaction, I think Lord Byron would agree, in anything that meets a solo traveler’s needs. And meets ’em well.

Such as: Tentsile’s new solo UNA Tree Tent.

Due to hit the market this March, the tree-tent trailblazers at Tentsile hit it out of the park on the UNA. As usual with products of this ilk, think … hammock with a healthy dose of tent. It weighs in at just over six pounds for easy transport (it’s gonna be just you carrying it, after all), and includes a see-through mesh net covering that defeats mosquitoes and unlocks the stars at the same time. Plus, of course, a rainfly in case the skies open up.

The one wild card in finding the perfect spot to rest your lonesome bones is you’ll need three trees to accommodate the UNA’s triangular frame.

But a little extra time wandering through the woods might do the body some good.
