Terrified of Rejection? This Bot Helps You Craft Perfect E-Mails.

Meet Respondable, a bot that grades your chance for a response

August 23, 2016 9:00 am EDT

Your future robot overlords do have one use: Perfecting e-mails.

The message scheduling app Boomerang just launched Respondable, a new A.I.-powered service that gives you real-time predictions on how likely your e-mail is to get a response.

The service utilizes data from millions of messages to rate your message on different parameters, including word count, reading level, subject length and question count. Besides a number grade, it’ll also offer suggestions (e.g.. did you know e-mails written at a 3rd grade reading level are more likely to get a response? Or that 3-7 word subject lines are the most effective?).

The app’s pro/premium services also scores your e-mails on politeness, positivity and subjectivity.

The service is available now, and currently works for Gmail and Outlook.
