A backyard treehouse in Atlanta continues to be the most popular listing on Airbnb.
Which means you’re not staying there anytime soon.
Environmental activist Peter Bahouth’s Secluded Intown Treehouse, which is actually three treehouse suites connected by rope bridges, now gets 300,000 site visits per month on Airbnb’s site and almost 150,000 people have saved it to their “wish list.”
Highlights: The bedroom features a double bed that can rolled onto a platform that overlooks the stream below. Wi-Fi. Lowlights: The bathroom is in the basement of the private home on the property. No air conditioning.
It’s $375 per night for two people, with a minimum two-night stay…and the first available two-night stay begins April 9, 2018 (although July 2018 seems pretty open).
Some other most-desired Airbnb properties with better availability? Try a tricked-out Airstream in Malibu ($500 per night, available July 20), a house 10 minutes from Joshua Tree National Park ($250, available in August), a mushroom-shaped dome cabin in California ($125, available in October) and an A-frame cabin in the Redwoods ($175, available in September).
