If you’ve perused Levi’s warehouse sale yet, chances are you’ve been mesmerized by the $20 jeans, and who can blame you? But as it turns out, the best deal isn’t on blue jeans — it’s not even on pants.
While many of the best pieces are going fast, tucked away in the Levi’s blowout are two seriously underrated trucker jackets that are over 50% off: the WellThread Trucker Jacket in a black wash, and the Type 2 Worn Trucker in a color they’re calling “cashew red.”
Why are these better than the classic blue denim jackets everyone and their mother is wearing these days? Well, the exclusivity, first of all. But in terms of design, the WellThread jacket is part of a sustainability initiative; it’s made of Levi’s proprietary Cottonized Hemp and is, remarkably, fully recyclable. (Straight denim, on the other hand, is for the most part bad for the environment.) As for the Type 2 layer, that comes from Levi’s premium Made & Crafted line and brings back a vintage design, so you can be certain you won’t bump into someone else wearing the same jacket.
