The coronavirus-ravaged Tennessee Titans are depleted, but they’re also undefeated.

With eight players still on the COVID-19/reserve list at kickoff after a total of 24 team members tested positive over the past two weeks, the Titans took the field and put on a beatdown on the undefeated Buffalo Bills.

Tennessee quarterback Ryan Tannehill threw for three touchdowns and ran for another as the Titans routed the Bills 42-16 on Tuesday night.

Star running back Derrick Henry finished with two touchdowns on the night and one killer stiff-arm on Josh Norman.

“We are a little ticked off about how we’ve been treated, looked at over the past couple weeks. We were under a lot of heat,” Tannehill said. “Didn’t quite understand it, why we were under such heat, but we stuck together. We believed in each other and knew that guys in our building, on our team, were all we needed. We were down some guys, had some guys step up and make some big plays for us that aren’t usually in those spots.”

Now 4-0 on the season and sitting in first place in the AFC South with no clear challengers outside of possibly the Colts, the Titans are in great shape despite all their positive COVID-19 tests.

Tennessee will take on Houston in Week 6 and Pittsburgh in Week 7.

With the loss, the Bills fall to 4-1 on the season. Had they won on Tuesday, it would have been Buffalo’s best start since 1991 when the Bills reached the Super Bowl.
