The New York Giants suspended a 22-year-old player after he was arrested over the weekend after being accused of knocking a woman unconscious and stepping on her neck last week at his New Jersey home.
Safety Kamrin Moore was charged with third-degree aggravated assault following the alleged attack on the 22-year-old woman whom he had been dating since January.
During the alleged incident, the woman arrived at Moore’s home after he didn’t respond to text messages and was confronted by another woman. A confrontation began and then Moore allegedly stepped on the woman’s neck when she fell to the floor and punched her when she got back to her feet.

Moore’s agent, Eugene Lee, called the charges against his client “baseless.”
“We remain confident that when the truth is revealed, Mr. Moore will be exonerated and vindicated completely of these baseless charges,” Lee said in a statement. “The claimant in this matter showed up unannounced and unsolicited at Mr. Moore’s home to begin an altercation with Mr. Moore’s girlfriend and invent these accusations. He will be fully cleared of all charges.”
Moore appeared in two games for the Giants last year after being drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL draft out of Boston College.
Attorney Alex Spiro will be representing Moore in court.
