In his first game on the field since Week 2, Eli Manning helped stake the New York Giants to 14-point halftime lead over the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football.
Manning was far from spectacular and only completed 50 percent of his passes, but two of his throws went for touchdowns to explosive rookie wide receiver Darius Slayton.
Darius Slayton's sensational rookie year continues as he turns a short gain into a 35-yard TD. Eli Manning's first TD pass since Week 2.

Had Manning and the Giants been able to hold on, it would have been a deathblow to Philadelphia’s playoff chances.
Unfortunately for the Giants, New York was shutout in the second half and surrendered 14 points over the final two quarters to knot the game at 17-17 at the end of regulation.
In overtime, Carson Wentz was able to find his go-to guy Zach Ertz in the end zone, giving the Eagles the 23-17 lead and preserving their chances of making the postseason.

Thanks to the win, the Eagles (6-7) moved into a tie atop the NFC East with the Cowboys. Philadelphia will take the division title if it wins its final three games, including a date with Dallas in Week 16.
For Manning and the Giants, the loss was the ninth straight for New York (2-11), tying a franchise record set in 1976.
“I’ve played a lot of football games,” Manning said after the loss. “I know the offense and know what I’m supposed to do. I made some good throws and didn’t make some plays that I needed to.”
New York starter Daniel Jones may miss more time for the Giants so it’s possible 39-year-old Manning will get at least one more start for the team prior to hitting free agency after the season.
