You’re Flying All Wrong, Dude

Unlimited private flights, courtesy of Beacon

  • 04 March 2015

Airplanes are the worst.

Cramped seats. Mirthless flight attendants.

And even if you are a Delta Gold member (or whatever), you’re still forced to endure the harried gauntlet of the godforsaken airport.

There’s a better way. Fly con gusto, amigo, with Beacon, the new private-plane concern servicing the East Coast and now accepting early members.

Beacon works like the West Coast’s Surf Air, which Beacon CEO Wade Eyerly also founded.

You pay a modest monthly sum and fly as often as you need, booking up to four flights at a time through a dedicated personal concierge.

Currently they’re running the NYC-Boston commuter route.

Jaunts out to the Hamptons and Nantucket begin in spring.

Other major East Coast destinations are coming soon thereafter.

And so, instead of playing TSA pat-your-gonads and enjoying a bulkhead crampfest, you’ll stroll from the lounge at White Plains across the tarmac to stretch your legs in executive aircraft like the King Air 350i and Pilatus PC-12.

Beacon also offers custom programs for corporate clients, and are offering bonuses like complimentary guest passes for early adopters.

So hop on it.
