Power Wheels? Never heard of 'em.

Yes, kids do have it easy these days, angry old man gesticulating with a cane in the back. They don’t have to work in the mines or free-climb a snowy mountain to get to school, as you once did. They play Fortnite instead of memorizing Homer. They’re having fun.

And fun means having some pretty excessive toy options. The kind of toys we all covetously cartoon-howled at the first time we watched Big.

One perfect example? Toylander’s seafoam green 1948 Series 1 Land Rover

In line with Toylander’s other replica mini-mobiles, the Series 1 is fully electric, handmade-to-order and includes a pair of motors, two batteries, a charger, a spare wheel (resting on the front hood) and your choice of license plate numbers. Faithful to the mid-century model, the car comes with forward and reverse gears, footbrakes and handbrakes, a horn and lights.

And before you ask, yes, it’s spacious enough for adults. Let the kid drive, though!

You can purchase the admittedly pricey Toylander Land Rover here. And don’t forget to ask for left-hand drive — Toylander’s a British company.
