Bury Me in This Waterproof, Down-Insulated Wonder Poncho

No one cares what you look like when you're camping

The only thing that camping trips and fashion shows have in common is that it’s best to attend both with a drink in hand.

One question where they’re squarely divided is, of course, that of fashion versus function. And the folks at toasty-blanket-maker Rumpl have done nothing to clear up the debate with a new garment that is equal parts utilitarian and unglamorous.

Lightweight and covered with 100% waterproof nylon on its shoulders and three-panel hood, the open body of the Rumpl Puffy Poncho is made from the same water-resistant fabric the gear company uses on its blankets.

Equipped with a kangaroo pouch with two-hand pockets, brass snaps and an invisible zipper pocket offering hands-free beverage holding, the machine-washable poncho packs down to the size of a pillow.

Currently priced at $145 on Kickstarter, delivery of the poncho by December 15th is guaranteed.

Long story short: You’ll be warm and your beer will be cold. Let ‘em laugh.
