There is but one jacket a man needs on the sun-soaked sidewalks of L.A.
Supple, zippered black leather, baby.
LTH JKT is a new local brand doing just that in three classic styles: motorcycle, bomber and cafe racer.
Handmade from New Zealand lambskin, these jackets are all priced under $600 — about two-thirds the price of a comparable jacket, since they’ve cut out the middlemen and use a transparent manufacturing process.
The Grade 1 leather is tanned for about four days then adorned with YBS zippers that don’t snag and flat snaps that give it an architectural look.
You can try one on at the new Fred Segal in Hollywood, and if you like the fit, they’ll place the order and get you one in no time. It’s this demand-based model that helps keep the costs down and the animal waste to a minimum.
If you think that’s cool, wait until you see yourself in one.
