There’s a good chunk of people out there who don’t like to buy refurbished, and we totally get it. If you’re going to buy something nice that you’ll use every day (speaker, TV, smartphone), might as well shell out for brand new.
There are a few exceptions, though, one of them being the popular refurbished sale at Sonos, which was just restocked with discounts up to hundreds of dollars off. Why is this different? The smart speaker company offers “certified refurbished” speakers that include authentic replacement parts, a one-year warranty, and even free shipping and returns in case it doesn’t perform to your standards. No joke.
If you’ve been wanting to buy a Sonos speaker, or add to your collection, there’s no better time than now. The gold standard Sonos One (though this is a Gen 1, not Gen 2) is only $159, the older and smaller Play:1 (which I personally have and love) is only $99, and a pain-free surround sound set for your burgeoning home theater is a couple hundred dollars off.
Just so you’re aware, every time we’ve seen Sonos throw a refurbished sale like this, the speakers sell out faster than expected, so hop to it.
