One of our favorite independent running brands, Boston-based Janji, is now available at Huckberry.
Janji’s built on a rare fusion of fitness, travel and sustainability. As a “nomadic” brand, the label chooses a country as muse for each of its collections and partners with local talent to design hardy, technical running apparel inspired by the nation’s terrain. They also partner with non-profits to help conserve water. We spoke to CEO Dave Spandorfer about that process back in late March.
The gear is highly technical. Think: four-way fabrics to encourage ease of movement, numerous “stash pockets” so you can carry catch-all items on the go, and paper-thin exteriors that somehow manage to repel water without issue. To get a feel for their best and latest, I’d recommend checking out the Flyby Running Tight, Transit Tech Half Zip, and AFO 5″ Middle Running Short.
