Unfortunately, activewear label Hill City is winding down its operations and shuttering by the end of the year. A subsidiary of The Gap, Inc., the SF-based brand won’t survive a year that has hit retail especially hard.

As a direct result, many of Hill City’s pieces can now be shopped for uncommonly low prices. Like this 6″ X-Purpose Short, which has been a go-to of mine all summer. I’ve worn them for a random array of activities, including running, mowing the lawn and drinking in the backyard. I even golfed in them in a pinch. They’re currently $30 off, thanks to HC’s 30% discount on sale items, which updates automatically in your cart.
