Last summer, we first wrote about Oxford Pennant, the Buffalo-born brand that designs cheeky, wool-felt pennants, flags and championship banners. The founders, Dave Horesh and Brett Mikoll, were searching for pennants that might mimic popular early-20th century designs, but came up empty. So they started stitching their own.
They now employ an eight-person team on Main Street in Buffalo, which has kept up the tradition of stitching each banner by hand, and the design sensibility is fantastic, a mix of collegiate colors and lines that might’ve once been growled by Harrison Ford. I got their “Raise Hell, Kid” banner for Christmas last year, and hung it over my bed. It makes me immeasurably happy.
We’re pleased to report that Oxford Pennant now has a collection available on Huckberry, our most trusted one-stop-men’s-shop, so you can pick one up for yourself, while perusing within familiar environs and taking advantage of Huckberry’s dependable shipping. Below, find four of our favorites from the collection, including a banner, two camps flags, and a sneaky affordable pennant.
