The Brazilian legend scored five goals and assisted his team's other six goals

Though he surely would prefer to not be in a Paraguayan prison, Brazilian soccer legend Ronaldinho is making the most of his time behind bars. In his first match for one of his prison’s soccer teams, the former Barcelona star scored five goals and assisted six scores for his team, as they won 11-2. Seems a bit unfair to have Ronaldinho play for only one side, but he didn’t take it easy on his fellow inmates.

In a video shared by Brazilian news outlet Globo Esporte, the man nicknamed Dinho can be seen casually strolling through the field before scoring one of his five goals. The intensity was somewhat below that found in the European pitches of his career, but considering that he hasn’t played competitively since 2015, it is nice to see that his skills haven’t atrophied.

According to Globo Esporte, Ronaldinho did not want to participate in the prison tournament, but accepted because “it was a treat” for the other prisoners to play with the legend. And he did get something out of the whole deal: thanks to his team’s win, they shared a 16 pound pork feast after the game.

Ronaldinho and his brother Roberto Assis are detained in Paraguay after they entered the country with fake Paraguayan passports. The official charge is that of “using a public document with false content.”
