Bill Belichick Curbs Privileges of Tom Brady’s Trainer Alex Guerrero
Guerrero is banned from boarding Patriots jets and cannot stand on the sideline.
Bill Belichick made it very clear in 2013 that he trusted the medical and training staff the Patriots already had in place, even as Tom Brady and Alex Guerrero prepared to launch their TB12 therapy center. Belichick even credited the staff with helping the franchise with their three Super Bowl titles. But Belichick has allowed many of Brady’s teammates to participate in training regimes at the TB12 Center just outside the stadium in Patriot Place, where Guerrero treated the players there with his alternative methods. Belichick also let Guerrero to have an office near the locker room. But now, Belichick is changing his tune. He stripped Guerrero of his special team privileges, and restored the old medical and training operations, with little explanation. Guerrero is now banned from boarding Patriots jets and his sideline access has been revoked. And he is not allowed to treat any players besides Brady.
