Las Vegas bettors are gambling big that young quarterbacks Baker Mayfield and Mitchell Trubisky are the real deal.

Gamblers at Las Vegas sportsbooks are betting Mayfield’s Cleveland Browns and Trubisky’s Chicago Bears to win the Super Bowl more than any other teams in the NFL, according to ESPN.

“It’s been kind of overwhelming, the support [for the Bears],” Alan Berg, the senior oddsmaker for Caesars Sportsbook told The Worldwide Leader. “Every time the Bears go to the playoffs, the following year, the money just pours in. Everybody gets optimistic.”

The biggest reason for the spike in bets on the Browns and Bears is likely because the teams offer good bang for the buck at 10-1 and 9-1 at Caesars, respectively.

To put those numbers in perspective, the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs are co-favorites to win the Super Bowl at 7-1 followed by the New Orleans Saints at 17-2.

The Patriots, Chiefs, Saints, Bears and Browns are the only teams that have already attracted more than $1 million in Super Bowl bets.

Trubiskyand and Mayfield are also the most popular bets to win NFL MVP. Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes is the MVP favorite at 9-2.

That’s what’s happening in Vegas. At DraftKings and FanDuel sportsbooks in New Jersey, Eagles have garnered the most Super Bowl bets and Carson Wentz has received the most bets to win the NFL MVP.
