Twenty-two years after their Oscar winner Good Will Hunting, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are back together writing a movie.

This time, they’re enemies.

According to Deadline, the two Boston pals have put together a script (with Nicole Holofcener) called The Last Duel, a period drama based on a novel by Eric Jager about two best friends — Norman knight Jean de Carrouges and the squire Jacques Le Gris — who become enemies locked into a court-ordered duel after de Carrouges accuses Le Gris of raping his wife.

Damon and Affleck would also star, and the movie also marks a reunion of Damon with The Martian director Ridley Scott. As well, it’s a nice bit of symmetry for Scott, who got his directorial start with 1977’s The Duellists.

In the meantime, you can see Damon and Affleck together again much sooner in Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, out in October.
