Stormy Daniels Blows Into ‘Saturday Night Live’

Star-studded cold open also features Jimmy Fallon, Scarlett Johansson and Ben Stiller.

Saturday Night Live got into the adult film biz this weekend.

The NBC sketch comedy series enlisted porn actress Stormy Daniels as a surprise guest for Saturday’s cold open — playing herself as the object of affection of Alec Baldwin’s Donald Trump. The 7-minute, 20-second sketch was already overstuffed with celebrity cameos: Ben Stiller reprised his turn as beleaguered Trump attorney Michael Cohen; a barely recognizable Martin Short provided an impression of the president’s former personal physician, Harold Bornstein; and Scarlett Johansson and Jimmy Fallon lent their star-power as Ivanka and Jared Kushner.

The skit, which also featured the versatile Kate McKinnon contributing an impersonation of Rudy Giuliani, revolved around Cohen trying to navigate a series of phone calls to handle the spiraling pubic relations fallout of the $130,000 payment to Daniels.

“How are you holding up in prison,” Baldwin’s Trump asks.

“I’m not in prison,” Cohen answers.

“Give it a couple weeks,” his boss deadpans.

The payoff is the surprise appearance of Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, herself. “I know you don’t believe in climate change, but a storm’s a comin’, baby,” she says, proving that comedy is not her best acting skill set.
