It’s more than just the magic of movies: Margot Robbie looks like an uncanny match for Sharon Tate, the woman she plays in an upcoming biopic.
The Australian actress posted a photo on Instagram Monday of her dressed as the late Tate for Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming film, Once Upon A Time in Hollywood.
Robbie wears a white skirt, black turtleneck and white boots in the photograph, and she is staring into the camera. She captioned the photo: “First look. #OnceUponATimeInHollywood @onceinhollywood.”
Brad Pitt and Leonardo DiCaprio both star in the movie as well. DiCaprio plays Rick Dalton, the former star of a western TV series, while Pitt portrays Cliff Booth, Dalton’s longtime stunt double.
Tate’s sister, Debra Tate, originally disagreed with the forthcoming film, but said she changed her mind after she read the scrip, reports Page Six.
#Tarantino movie people think they know what this movie is, they don’t I’m grateful to Quentin For letting me read the script, and sitting down with me to explain his vision.

I have to protect my sisters legacy and to do what I can to make sure her memory is not exploited. I can honestly say that Quinton shares my commitment. I’m proud to fully support his film.
