Back in 1924, Rolls-Royce fitted its Silver Ghost model with a hidden compartment in the running board containing a Tommy Gun. According to the car’s owner—who had the gun deactivated—wealthy drivers used to carry around large amounts of money at the time, so of course, they needed protection. The five-passenger auto is worth about $434,000.
