Even though Hillary Clinton supporters didn’t get their candidate in the White House, they’ve seen the ascendancy of another woman to America’s highest office—at least on HBO.

Seinfeld alum Julia Louis-Dreyfus has been starring as Selina Meyer in the pay-cable network’s political satire Veep since 2012—ascending from her titular vice-presidential role to (spoiler alert!) the presidency in 2014’s Season 3. Meyer aptly lost in 2016’s Season 5—and Season 6 just concluded this past June.

Now, according to The Hollywood Reporter, the show’s upcoming seventh season, which will premiere some time next year, will be its last. Veep star Louis-Dreyfus told THR that “It became clear that this season should be the last season….We don’t want to repeat ourselves or wear out our welcome. The story has a finality to it that feels end-of-series.”

Louis-Dreyfus, who has received five consecutive lead actress Emmys, two Screen Actors Guild awards, and five consecutive Golden Globe nominations for her role, told THR that “this has been a role of a lifetime.” She’s up for a sixth lead actress Emmy this year.

The actress said the decision to end the acclaimed show’s run didn’t come easy. “I struggled with it,” she told THR. “And then it just hit me. It’s hard to say goodbye to such a good thing. We struggled with this at Seinfeld as well.”
