In a Wimbledon marred by early exits and injuries—not to mention a historically old field (at least in tennis years)—the seemingly ageless Roger Federer once again proved unbeatable, notching his record eighth Wimbledon victory and unreal 19th Grand Slam title.

With Prince William and Kate Middleton among the onlookers, the 35-year-old Federer beat Croatian Marin Cilic in straight sets.
