Politics aside, there are few presidents who dripped quite as hard as Barack Obama. Case in point: he’s the only POTUS Nike’s made an exclusive pair of sneakers for. Yes, while the 44th president was serving his first term in office, Nike took it upon themselves to craft a pair of custom Hyperdunks for the prez to honor his love of both watching and playing basketball.

The Hyperdunks were originally released in 2008 and worn by the U.S. men’s basketball team for the Beijing Olympics. Obama’s are nearly identical to those sported by the likes of Kobe Bryant and LeBron James while competing for the gold, save for presidential detailing including the Seal of the President of the United States embroidered on the tongue, the number ’44’ stamped on the inner toe and “1776” written on the insoles.

Only two pairs of the sneakers exist, with one being in Obama’s possession and the other soon up for grabs through Sotheby’s Buy Now platform. The shoes will be available to purchase on February 12th at the very fitting time of 4:44PM EST, for the mere price of $25,000. Ball out on the pair and proceed to dunk on ’em — presidential style.
