Man, it’s good to be a Star Wars geek these days.

You have the latest episode, The Last Jedi, hitting theaters this December and featuring the late Carrie Fisher‘s swan song. You’ve got a yet-to-be-named Han Solo spinoff being freshly helmed by Oscar-winner Ron Howard.

And now, according to The Hollywood Reporter, you have another standalone coming, this one focusing on the life of everybody’s favorite Jedi master, Obi-Wan Kenobi.

Oscar-nominated director Stephen Daldry—best known for films like The Hours and Billy Elliot—is said to be in talks to direct it.

Per THR, Star Wars stand-alones seem to be the wave of the future, as others reportedly in the mix may focus on the world’s most popular little green man, Yoda; and Boba Fett, the bounty hunter who’s already gotten backstory support in Episode II: Attack of the Clones.

“Ben” Kenobi was famously portrayed by Alec Guinness in the ’70s and ’80s Star Wars films, while Scottish actor Ewan McGregor has been wielding the blue-glowing lightsaber since 1999’s Episode I: The Phantom Menace.

Daldry’s recently worked on Netflix’s The Crown, and is set to bring the hit Broadway musical Wicked to the big-screen some time in 2019.
