Because you don’t have time to find your horizons (let alone broaden them), we give you Culture Samples: our essential guide to gallery shows and openings that every man should see, and which recurs about once a month. Sally forth.

The Internet is filled with sex. And cats.

But mostly sex.

It’s hard to ignore — and possibly throwing a wrench in your real-life relationships.

Want to kick the habit? You could try Hot Girls Wanted, Rashida Jones’s provocative new documentary on the amateur pornography industry, now on Netflix.

The more enjoyable way?

Niki, Lucy, Lola, Viola, a whimsical new multimedia exhibit by Artist Petra Cortright that deconstructs porn into a thing of dream-like absurdity, now on display at DEPART Foundation’s space on Sunset and Doheny.

It’s one of the six must-see exhibits you need to check out around town in this month’s edition of Culture Samples.

Other places to get your art on this month:

  • A hip-hop exhibit inspired by a Kendrick Lamar lyric
  • A room-spanning, 60-foot-long hand-drawn mural
  • And a montage of movie clips featuring timepieces synchronized to PST

Leave the cats at home.
