Watch BASE Jumper Leap Off Homemade Waterslide
Pro Marshall Miller and company show you how it's done.
One of our greatest memories from childhood was building a homemade slip-‘n-slide in the backyard, running hose-water down its length, and just bombarding down it, face-first, while onlookers cheered on.
Now, imagine setting up a similar scenario, but with the end of the slide being a cliff edge with a perilous vertical drop. Not so conducive to shouts of joy, right?
Professional BASE jumper and all-around daredevil Marshall Miller—who’s the progeny of a famous mountain climber—set up that exact thing in Moab, Utah, with the GoPro cameras recording. Watch the white-knuckle event above.
