Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Tribute Enamel Hokusai “Amida Falls”

The final installment in the JLC-Katsushika Hokusai trilogy is here. You likely know the 19th century Japanese artist for his woodblock print The Great Wave off Kanagawa, which has been reproduced in countless iterations, including on the back of a Jaeger-LeCoultre watch in 2018. Now, after a second watch was released in 2021 translating a Hokusai print onto a Reverso caseback, this third edition featuring The Amida Falls in the Far Reaches of the Kisokaidō Road has been released. It’s a fitting collaboration, with the artist’s “Waterfalls” series being created in the same year that JLC was founded: 1833. Ten pieces have been made, with the pricing available upon request.

Cheez It x Pandora Aged by Audio Crackers

Inspired by a 2019 Bern University experiment that found the impact of sound waves affects metabolic processes in cheese to the point where a discernible difference in flavor develops, Cheez It x Pandora Aged by Audio Crackers were sonically-aged for six-and-a-half months using a hip-hop mixtape. The first-of-its-kind snack includes a 90-day free trial of Pandora that can be listened to via Skullcandy’s new line of Cheez It headphones, if you’re feeling really cheesy. For a chance to win a box signed by executive producer and SiriusXM radio host Sway Calloway, head to KelloggsFamilyRewards.com through July 31.

Victorinox Classic SD Solemate

In collaboration with Adidas, multi-tool makers Victorinox released a special edition of the EQT 93 sneaker, but it’s actually the accompanying “Solemate” swiss that we’re more interested in. A pint-sized 8-function tool that delivers a paracord pendant and nappa leather pouch to attach to the matching sneaker, it’s a sleek EDC for the modern sneakerhead.

Hydrow

Hydrow Wave Rower

Billing itself as an exercise machine that works 86% of the body’s major muscle groups, Hydrow’s original rowing machine provided a difficult, trance-inducing workout that we couldn’t get enough of, but with one flaw — it was a bit too cumbersome for our dinky NYC apartments. The newest addition to the Hydrow family, the Wave Rower, is a streamlined fix to that very problem, specifically designed for small spaces with its vertical anchor fucntion (see: we no longer have an excuse not to purchase one and actually workout at home).

Stellum Black Equinox and Fibonacci

Stellum — a sister brand to the much-beloved Barrell Craft Spirits — just launched two unique releases of its own. With Equinox, the whiskey makers “slowly layered in rare sets of bourbon barrels until the evening of the Vernal Equinox, when the blend was completed in honor of the changing seasons.” Fibonacci — by definition, a series of numbers, each the sum of the two previous numbers — was the inspiration behind the other namesake release, where six separate rye blends were “combined in accordance with this sequence.”

Loop X Tomorrowland Experience

Designed with music festival season in mind, these stylish earplugs combine an acoustic channel and filter for a natural sound that’s about 18 decibels less than the ear-splitting levels you’re probably experiencing. A must-have for all your concerts, festival or not.

Stüssy Summer ’22 Eyegear

Stüssy’s wavy drops typically wow us, and their Summer ’22 eyewear is no different.  Handcrafted in Japan, the three new silhouettes nail what we want from eyewear in 2022, balancing far-out and too far-out to perfection. Our pick (though we want them all!) would have to be oval tortoiseshell Penn style — they’re simply too sick to ignore.

Old Forester The 117 Series – Whiskey Row Fire

This commemorative bottle (the fourth in the distillery’s 117 Series, launched last year) honors the 7th anniversary of the fire on Whiskey Row that nearly destroyed the historic Louisville block. The bourbon comes from barrels that the Louisville Fire Department chose in 2020.
