World’s Wackiest Brewer to Release Lynch-Approved ‘Twin Peaks’ Beers

That is a damn fine can of beer.

Reader, we’re going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present.

It could be a new shirt at the men’s store, a catnap in your office chair or — starting this weekend — a Damn Good Coffee Stout, one of the new Twin Peaks-inspired craft beers.

The three releases are brewed by Danish microbrewery Mikkeller with the help of David Lynch himself, the show’s director who was “heavily involved in all aspects of the process.” Besides the stout (which is brewed with the David Lynch Signature Cup Organic House Blend), there’s a Red Room Ale and Log Lady Lager.

But despite the collaboration being “initiated by the New York division of Mikkeller,” the only place you’ll be able to taste the beers, for now, is California. They launch this weekend at Lynch’s Festival of Disruption at the Theatre at Ace Hotel, and will also be available at Mikkeller locations in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oakland and San Diego.

But with no decrease in appetite for everything Lynch-related, here’s hoping Mikkeller brings these to their new East Coast space.
