If you’re not a cast iron collector, you may have a hard time differentiating one old-school skillet from another. After all, they all pretty much look the same — round shape, slightly angled sides, straight handle, maybe two pour spots if we want to get a lil’ crazy — that is, all of them except for Finex.

Finex cast iron is unmistakable, like if cast iron went to RISD. The Portland company’s cookware features an octagonal silhouette, instead of round, which means there are eight pour spouts built into the pan, and the handles are polished spring-coiled stainless steel so you won’t burn yourself (and you’ll look good in the kitchen). And right now, Sur La Table is offering a rare discount of 20% off the skillets, grill pans and Dutch ovens.

In the skillet department, you’ll want to get the one with a lid, which is down from $200 to $160. (Though do be aware that this is the smallest Finex skillet, with an 8-inch width and 6.75-inch diameter cooking surface.) If you need something bigger, there are two grill pans included in the sale, both a 10-inch and 12-inch size, which are great for cooking just about any meat you’ve got. The best deal of the sale is the 5-quart Dutch oven that’s currently $70 off, and a total kitchen workhorse. But unlike some other cast iron options out there, everything from Finex is handsome enough that it can go from the stove to the oven to the center of your dining table. Just be sure to use a hot pad or trivet.
