If you’re the type of person who refers to Offred as Peggy and Howard Stark as Roger, or can’t help but cite this scene when you see Jon Hamm doing whatever weird shit he’s up to these days, we hate to break it to you: you’re still going through a case of Mad Men withdrawal.
Don’t worry, you’re not alone.
Three years after its finale, the AMC drama is still worthy of commemoration, not only for its mastery of character development and the sociopolitical undercurrents that guide them, but also for the award-winning costume and set designs that help drive those stories forward.
So here’s some good news: last week, Hollywood auction marketplace ScreenBid launched a vast Mad Men auction, and by the looks of the some-200-piece collection of props and costumes, it’ll help relieve any pangs of nostalgia you still suffer.
(It should also be noted that the auction list represents a nice mood board for anyone hoping to acheive that impeccable 1960s style.)
The top highlight of the auction is the 1964 Chrysler Imperial Don drove in California during season four. Not only does it appear to be in tip-top shape, it’s also “believed to be all original except for one repaint about 20 years ago and new carpeting.”
Aside from the rare piece of American automotive history, the lion’s share of the auction goes to the show’s props and furniture, culled and fit for both office and home settings. Our favorites:

- And for the serious fans among us, set design blueprints of Don’s bachelor pad
