Slovenian freeskier Filip Flisar is making a run for “Son of the Year” award. He may have it wrapped up with this jetpack stunt.

The 29-year-old skier, who made the Winter Olympics team in 2014 and was named ski cross’ world champion the following year, was out on the slopes, when he got a reminder from his mother that lunch would be served soon.

So, like any good son, Flisar rushed to keep the date—by strapping on a jetpack and skiing at speeds of up to 75 mph all the way home. During the publicity stunt, he was able to effortlessly ski up and downhill, through a soccer field (where stunned players looked on), over a bridge, down steps, and even over a frozen lake.

“Skiing fast with a jetpack in an open field is one thing; blasting your way across asphalt, granite setts, and icy concrete in the middle of Main Square proved to be a totally different story,” he explained to his sponsors at Red Bull.
