Professional Dream Crusher Michael Jordan Just Ruined These Kids’ Summer

Yup, still a competitive a**hole

If you were wondering whether Michael Jordan has at all changed since his third and final retirement from the NBA in 2003, the answer is a big, fat, resounding no.

He’s still A) really good at throwing a basketball through an 18-inch-wide hoop and B) the most fiercely competitive a**hole who’s ever walked the face of the earth.

Proof comes in the form of this video from Chris Paul’s Summer Camp, where Paul bet the erstwhile Jumpman that he couldn’t complete an around-the-world drill without missing three shots.

The stakes: a free pair of shoes for ever kid at the camp.

The result: a bunch of sad kids, obviously.

We’re talking about the guy who once punched his teammate and squeaky-clean nice guy Steve Kerr in the face during a scrimmage. The guy who used to tell defenders exactly how he was going to embarrass them, and then proved it. The guy whose Hall of Fame acceptance speech was a 48-minute middle-finger-to-the-world that spared no one, right down to the high school coach who left him off the varsity team when he was a sophomore in high school.

But man: that cat can still ball.
