I’ve recommended this watch before and I’ll keep recommending it as long as my own remains in rotation. It’s the original model from Timex’s ever-expanding Q Timex line, and while there are a few styles on sale, we’d recommend the black and green.

If you like the styling of the original Q Timex but can’t get down with a quartz movement, then the beefy (40mm case, 14.5mm thickness) M79 Automatic is for you.

While this appears to be the more muted end of the Q Timex line, the beauty is in the details: an oblique date window, textured silver-tone dial and faceted hour markers.
