Perrier Eiffel Tower Zipline Promotion

It sounds too good to be true.

The Eiffel Tower is beautiful. But visiting the Paris icon sort of sucks: long lines, cumbersome (and sadly necessary) security. The view from the top is great, but you can get more or less the same vantage point — with the tower itself actually in your viewfinder — from the Tour Montparnasse or even up on the hill in Montmartre.

This, though. This changes everything.

Welcome, Perrier Smash. If the name didn’t give it away, it’s a promotion linked to the French Open — taking place right now on the city’s western edge. Sponsor Perrier wanted to bring some of the excitement to the center of town — and Perrier Smash makes good on it. Climb to the tower’s second floor (not to the very top — tragically not an option) and you’ll zoom along a zipline above the Champs de Mars to the roof of the nearby Ecole Militaire.
