If I would’ve known the Harry Potter franchise would live on for all of eternity through various marketing schemes and a never-ending stream of merchandise, I probably wouldn’t have cried so much during the last movie. Not that I’m complaining, though.
The newest addition to the Harry Potter universe is a collaboration between Vans and Warner Bros. The sneaker brand will release four different classic Vans styles, each representing one house of the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry — Sk8-Hi for Gryffindor, Era for Slytherin, Authentic for Ravenclaw and the Classic Slip-On for Hufflepuff.
Vans x Harry Potter will also announce additional footwear alongside a selection of men’s and women’s apparel and accessories. The products are set to go on sale this Friday, June 7th, online and in select stores.
Wondering if buying Harry Potter shoes as an adult makes you an irredeemable nerd? The Slytherin in us wants to say yes, but the Hufflepuff in us thinks you should do whatever feels right.
