The Converse Chuck Taylor is iconic for a reason.
It looks good with everything. On the street. In the park. With a suit.
But it doesn’t look good with every time. We can’t, with any kind of confidence, recommend wearing your favorite pair of Chucks in cold, wet weather.
But Converse is determined to make everyone’s favorite sneaker a year-round go-to, with the Counter Climate Shield Canvas collection.
Sure, there’s the Tekoa boot, released last year and the brand’s first foray into weatherproof sneakerboots. But this new collection, which includes the Chuck Taylor All Star II, is the first time Converse has offered a sneaker for cold climates that have the full-on classic Chuck Taylor silhouette.
What you get: a completely new construction featuring a water-repellent upper, gusseted tongue and micro-suede lining, while the a Nike Lunarlon sockliner gives the a shoe enhanced comfort and extra warmth.
The new offerings won’t get you through extreme winters, but if you live in a place it doesn’t get too harsh, they’ll treat ya just right.
Head on over to Converse to check out the full collection.
