Converse’s New Sneaker Boot Has Plans to Kick Winter’s Teeth In

Chuck Taylors in January? Believe it.

While built to stand up to the elements one encounters with inclement weather, most waterproof boots aren’t designed to look good enough for the rigors of a Saturday night on the town.

We’re pleased to say Converse’s Chuck II Waterproof Thermo Boots are not most waterproof boots.

Featuring a neoprene inner sleeve for blocking out the elements and Nike Lunarlon cushioning for comfort, the Chuck II sneakerboots can handle slick conditions and sticky bar floors alike.

Available in two styles, the rain-or-shine Chuck Taylors have rugged outsoles for traction and feature reflective stitching along the back heels to keep the boots visible in low-light conditions.

And priced at $150, the Chucks may not be stocking stuffers, but they would make a great gift for someone to stuff their stockings into.
